Drawing in Rothschild boulevard, Tel Aviv

Each time I walk on this boulevard - one of the most trendy of Tel Aviv - I am amazed by the mix of architectural styles. Bahaus or fancy houses at the feet of skyscrappers, looking at the city from above, typical Tel Aviv shutters overlooking the magnificent trees of the boulevard. People strolling and trying to catch the sun passing through the branches of the trees.
I often wondered where to start drawing to catch the diversity of this boulevard and the people passing by, a day of sketching seems a bit short to get the atmosphere of this long street.
But it was a very good start, I enjoyed it very much and especially seeing how sketchers, each one with different tools and abilities, translated their own idea of what is Rothschild Boulevard

  1. Agree with you - there is so many faces to this boulevard and it's impossible to get them in one and even in ten sketches! I love your points of view, the last sketch with its unfinished feeling is my favorite!
