Home sweet home

Last post before I leave the country for summer break (going to colder areas !)…
It's hot during the day in July so we stay quite a lot at home with the air conditioning during the afternoon and we allow the kids to be a bit more in front of the screen… Bad mother who gets a good occasion to draw her children concentrated on some movies ! Soon we'll run in the forests and mountains of Europe !

When it's less hot, we can go out and have some good time on the beach…

And in the evening joining my good friends for a dring & draw session in the greek market of Jaffa

Once a week, I go to spend 40 minutes in this coffee shop located in the middle of Yefet st. in Jaffa…
Just the time to sketch while I'm drinking a good coffee and having a chocolat croissant !

This is one of the new area of the flea market in Jaffa I like to go to and draw every corner, one after the other… So here is a collection done recently but on different days. This is a little bit the way which leads to the meeting point of the last sketchcrawl with the USk Tel Aviv group.

Living in Jaffa offers me many chances to be daily inspired and test techniques… After almost 8 years, I keep on enjoying my environment and feeling as a tourist in my own city!

Stormy weather on Jaffa

Waiting an hour under a strong rain on a parking lot waiting for your son going out from his capoera lesson doesn't sound very exciting… But when you are set in your car, have your sketchbook with you, watching the sea under a stormy weather, black clouds competing with sun in a rage of wind and rain, graphical lines on the floor, black cat calling you desperately from outside, palm trees dancing in the wind… It may change your perspective !

היי, שוב אני כאן עם לקט שרבוטים מכל מיני מקומות ובעיקר מהעבודה

עצרתי לשרבט את הבניין הזה בדרך הביתה מהעבודה ברחוב לבונטין

 הנוף שאני רואה ממקום העבודה (חנות מזוודות) במנחם בגין-הרכבת

 

 

 וזה בחנות עצמה. משלשום כשהיה גשום בערב ומזג האוויר עשה לי חשק לצייר :)

לקט שרבוטים

היי, אני מריאנה, סטודנטית לקראת שנה ד' במחלקה לתקשורת חזותית בשנקר, מתמחה באיור.
אני חושבת שהתחביב של השרבוט האורבני סוג של התחיל אצלי בצבא. בקורס היה לי דיי הרבה זמן פנוי אז הבאתי כלים ונהגתי להתיישב במקום כלשהו ולצייר את סביבת הבסיס, ואז זה נהיה הרגל של ממש ועשיתי את זה בכל פעם שהיה לי זמן פנוי, רציתי לשפר את הטכניקה וזה בעיקר היה מרגיע והעביר את הזמן בכיף

בזמן הלימודים התחביב הזה התפתח וזה כבר נהיה קצת ממכר.
לנסות לתפוס תנוחות ואופי של אנשים, סצנות, סיפורים קטנים, סביבה ואווירה במהירות, זו בדרך כלל המטרה. לפעמים זה גם סתם מעביר את הזמן בשיעור :)
