Political View

Political View

Last Saturday's evening I went to Kikar Rabin for the Left wingers rally. Never mind my own political views, a multitude of people in an open space is a great opportunity for sketching. I was sitting on the stairway leading to TLV's city hall, half attentive to speeches about bombed Gaza, the surging racism within our society and the clucking of disgruntled lefties behind me. It was all just a background music to the main event that was taking place on the small sketchbook in front of me: depicting the dark evening sky and the multitudes beneath it with a line of spotlights buffering in between. All within the strict limits of my A6 size sketchbook. After few shots illustrating the same landscape I got tired and went down to the square, trying taking on the demonstrators themselves.
Next time I believe I'll be crossing the lines to join the much more ecstatic right wingers. It'll be a whole lot of a different experience, with a totally different background music.

  1. כבר הגבתי לך בפייסבוק, אך אני רוצה להגיד שוב - היית כתב שטח של ממש! שרבוטים מעבירים אנגריות ונקודת מבט ברמה כל כך אחרת מצילומים. נהדר!
